Saints Row IV: Gat out of Hell Review | Gamespot

Added: 21.01.2015 13:10 | 5 views | 0 comments

Gamespot: "Saints Row developer Volition loves Johnny Gat. Saints Row fans, in general, like Johnny, but Volition loves that psychopath, and it's been trying to share the love for three games now, only to have him overshadowed by the gang of puckish rogues we know today. In that way, Gat Out of Hell was almost a foregone conclusion. Johnny was always going to get his time in the solo spotlight and all Volition needed was a good excuse to get that band of rogues we've come to love so well over the last three Saints Row games out of the way so it could happen."

Saints Row IV: Re-Elected Gat Out Of Hell review damned good? | Metro

Metro: "The next gen consoles get a remastered version of Saints Row IV and a new expansion, but is sending Johnny Gat to hell really a good idea? Reviewing video games is not as easy as it looks. Pointing out whether they work or not is pretty straightforward, as well as whether the graphics are technically competent or not, and what the basic plot is. But everything else is subjective, and so when we accuse a game of having overly simplistic gameplay or not being anywhere near as funny as it thinks it is that is literally just our opinion. We can seek to justify and explain our point of view, but at the same time were always keenly aware that other people will just not see it the same way."

Saints Row IV Re-Elected Review - TXH

Neil writes "It has to be said, Im a bit of a Saints Row fan. Having played each and every one through to a conclusion since the Saints first hit our Xbox 360 consoles back in 2006, Ive gone on to experience their antics more than once with Saints Row 2, Saints Row: The Third and indeed Saints Row IV. But now, for the first time the Saints are in glorious full HD having made the journey to the new gen with Saints Row IV: Re-Elected. Has the jump been a worthy one?"

Saints Row IV: Re-Elected Review [Capsule Computers]

Added: 21.01.2015 11:10 | 23 views | 0 comments

Travis Bruno of Capsule Computers writes: " Making a sequel generally means that the developer has to try and outdo their previous game but in a series like Saints Row, that is a hard feat to accomplish. Despite the odds, back in 2013 Volition and Deep Silver managed to do just that with Saints Row IV by adding super powers and a new out of this world setting. Now the company has released a slightly upgraded version of the game with all of the DLC in one package. The question is should you pick it up?"

Saints Row: Gat out of Hell Review | Gamerevolution

Added: 21.01.2015 10:11 | 2 views | 0 comments

GR: "Saints Row promotes in-your-face jokes, larger-than-life personalities, and wildly illogical premises as if they're going out of style, but it also lends the series its undeniable charm. Each subsequent release begs the question what will they do next? As the name implies, Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell takes the action to the underworld and allows players to explore Satan's stomping grounds in another sandbox adventure. Though the game touts the freedom often associated with this genre, it also limits the size and scope of the experience due to its distinction as a standalone expansion. This allows it to fit in well with the rest of the series, but feels somewhat hollow as a singular experience."
